Our shoot day starts with a 9:30am call time. The first look is expected on set at 10:30am. Students rotate between makeup prep and shooting, so everyone gets equal focus and time is used efficiently. Each look is allocated around 10-15 minutes on set. Most students complete up to three looks, but more can be photographed if time allows and looks are ready. The day wraps around 3:00pm.

Each student receives a private gallery by email, with instructions on how to pick their top images for retouching and simple options for additional images, headshots, or prints.

If we’re still on-site, we’ll do our best to slot them in later that day, or on another day if it’s a multi-day production. If that’s not possible, they’re welcome to book a discounted session at our private studio instead. Please note that no-shows are typically non-refundable, as production costs are already secured, but we always aim to offer a practical solution where possible.

Our productions are designed to feel like a creative, career-focused milestone, typically held near the end of a course, once students are confident creating camera-ready work. In previous partnerships, schools have run between one and three productions per year, depending on class size and course structure. We’re flexible: sessions can be single or multi-day, and we’re happy to group students from visually compatible disciplines, such as beauty, fashion, wigs, period makeup, and character work. We also support mixed-ability groups, including returning graduates, offering schools a chance to re-engage alumni while enhancing the value of their after-care programs. We don’t typically mix in special effects, as that usually requires a dedicated shoot, but we’re always happy to advise on combinations that work both visually and logistically.

Yes, subject to availability. Weekend slots fill quickly, so early booking is advised.

We recommend reaching out 4–6 weeks ahead of your desired dates to ensure availability and allow time for student sign-ups and prep.

Yes. We offer full flexibility if changes are made more than 14 days before the shoot. Inside 14 days, we’ll do our best to accommodate, but some costs may be non-refundable.

Yes. Tutors are welcome to book a space and participate alongside students.

Payment is made by bank transfer. Full details will be provided when you book your session.

Yes. Itemised receipts and invoices are available on request. All optional extras (like retouching or prints) are managed by invoice for clarity and easy record-keeping.

Students agree to our terms and conditions at the time of payment, which includes image use and participation consent. If any content will feature school branding, staff, or be used for promotional purposes, we also seek school approval beforehand.

Yes. We’re fully insured for on-campus work, covering everything from public liability to equipment and production-specific risks.
