This page outlines the full terms and expectations for models working with Aperture Beauty Production (“Aperture Beauty Production”). Please read each section carefully before confirming your booking.

 Appointment & Preparedness ⏰

Models agree to:

   •    Arrive on time and fully prepared for the agreed call time
          (Call time means ready - not just arriving.)
   •    Have a basic understanding of posing, expressions, and movement suited to the booking.
   •    Disclose allergies, sensitivities, or relevant health considerations in advance.
   •    Treat clients, artists, crew, educators, and fellow models with professionalism and respect.
   •    Follow all health and safety guidance on set or at venues.

Your professionalism helps create a smooth and positive working environment.

 Booking Confirmation, Payment & Paperwork 📄

   •    Bookings are confirmed once written confirmation is provided.
   •    Payment is usually invoiced by the model, unless paid on the day - agreed in advance.
   •    All required release forms and paperwork must be signed before payment is issued.
   •    Keeping paperwork accurate and up to date supports future bookings.

 Attendance, Cancellations & Reliability 🔁

   •    Notify the production team as soon as possible if you are unwell or experience an emergency.
   •    Cancellations within 48 hours should only occur in genuine emergencies.
   •    Cancelling due to another booking is not considered a valid reason.
   •    If holding another booking “on option,” this must be disclosed before the 48-hour window.
   •    One late cancellation with a valid reason is permitted; repeated cancellations may affect future bookings.
   •    Replacement bookings are treated as final.

 On-Set Time & Breaks 🕒

   •    Respect agreed working hours.
   •    Short extensions (around 30 minutes) may occasionally be requested.
   •    Breaks will be scheduled depending on booking length.
   •    Bring any personal essentials you may need.
   •    Raise any concerns about safety, clarity, or changes immediately.

 Wardrobe & Personal Presentation 👗

Models are expected to:

   •    Arrive well-rested, hydrated, and nourished.

    •    Arrive with clean and done hair and neutral nails unless otherwise agreed.
   •    Avoid heavy fake tan, strong perfume, or new skincare immediately before the booking.
   •    Follow wardrobe details provided in advance.
   •    Bring nude underwear, strapless bras, and basic essentials unless instructed otherwise.
   •    Skin should be clean and free from heavy makeup unless instructed otherwise.
   •    Avoid last-minute changes to appearance unless approved in advance.
   •    Maintain professional posture, body language, and working energy throughout the day.

Makeup, Hygiene & Comfort 💄

   •    Inform production and makeup artists of any allergies or sensitivities in advance.
   •    Raise concerns about hygiene or comfort immediately.
   •    You may reasonably refuse any product that feels unsafe.
   •    Open communication ensures comfort and wellbeing on set.

On-Set Etiquette & Creative Direction 🎬

   •    Keep conversations respectful and appropriate.
   •    Direction may come from photographers, educators, or production - please follow it.
   •    Feedback is part of the creative process and should be received professionally.
   •    Flexibility and collaboration are expected.

 Phone Use, BTS & Sharing 📱

​

Behind-the-scenes content is encouraged, provided it is shared responsibly.

   •    Phone use during makeup application must be kept to a minimum to allow the makeup artist to work effectively.
   •    During preparation and shooting, phone use should be limited to breaks or approved moments.
   •    BTS is encouraged unless otherwise stated by the production team.
   •    BTS must not interrupt the shoot or delay the schedule.

 All BTS content must include correct tags and full credit:

   1.    Production: @aperturebeautyproduction
   2.    Event: e.g. @charlottetilbury – Brush Along with Carla
   3.    Makeup Artist: @mua
   4.    Model: @model | Casting by Aperture Beauty Production
   5.    Location: e.g. @ctboutiquecoventgarden
 
   •    If asked to stop filming or photographing, this must be respected immediately.
   •    Never share private conversations, confidential information, or unreleased content.

Failure to follow these guidelines may impact future bookings.

10. Content Timing & Embargoes 🚫

   •    Some content may be under embargo until a launch or event date.
   •    Always wait for posting approval or guidance.
   •    Early posting without permission may affect future bookings.

 Privacy & Confidentiality 🔒

   •    All personal, client, and production information must remain confidential.
   •    Do not share booking or event details without permission.
   •    Respecting privacy supports long-term working relationships.

Networking & Booking Enquiries 🤝

   •    Any enquiries received through Aperture Beauty Production work should be directed back to the production team.
   •    Freelancers attending must route related enquiries through Aperture Beauty Production.

Brand Representation 🏷️

   •    Public behaviour connected to a booking should reflect professionalism.
   •    Individuality is welcomed; awareness and discretion are expected.

Model Welfare ❤️

​

Your wellbeing comes first.
   •    If you feel unsafe, unwell, or if a booking is not as agreed, you may step away.
   •    Inform the production team immediately so support can be provided.

Acknowledgement & Liability ✅

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these guidelines.

These terms exist to protect our creative process, the people involved, and the standards upheld by Aperture Beauty Production.

MODEL LIABILITY WAIVER

​

I, the undersigned model, acknowledge and agree to the following:
 

• Makeup Application: I understand that professional makeup artists will be applying makeup products to my skin, face, and body for the purpose of this event.

• Allergies & Skin Sensitivities: I confirm that I have disclosed any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect my ability to safely receive makeup application. I understand that failure to disclose such information is my sole responsibility.

• Assumption of Risk: I understand that there is always a risk of skin irritation, allergic reaction, or other adverse effects when cosmetic products are applied. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

• Release of Liability: I hereby release and hold harmless the event organisers, makeup artists, venue, and all affiliated brands or companies, as well as Aperture Beauty Production, from any and all liability, claims, or damages that may arise from my participation in this event, including but not limited to allergic reactions, skin irritation, or injury.

• Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aperture Beauty Production, its staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my actions, negligence, or failure to disclose relevant medical or allergy information.

• Personal Safety & Belongings: I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own personal safety and conduct while on set, and that I am solely responsible for any personal belongings I bring to the production. Aperture Beauty Production and all associated parties are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

• Acknowledgment: I confirm that I am participating voluntarily, that I have read and understood this release, and that I am at least 18 years of age.
