This Model Release applies to all models working with Aperture Photography LTD, trading as Aperture Beauty Production

(“Aperture Beauty Production”, “we”, “us”).

Model Eligibility (18+)

• ✅ The Model confirms they are 18 years or older on the date of the booking.

• ❌ Aperture Beauty Production does not work with models under 18.

Model Release

 

By participating in any production, booking, or event with Aperture Beauty Production, the Model grants Aperture Beauty Production permission to:

​

• photograph and film the Model (and record audio if needed);

• edit the content for professional delivery (colour correction, retouching, grading, cropping for format, sequencing);

• use the final content indefinitely for Aperture Beauty Production’s:

• portfolio and showcases

• website and social media

• marketing and printed materials

• showreels and professional collaborations

 

Confidential / restricted bookings: If a booking has an embargo, confidentiality requirement, or special posting restriction, Aperture Beauty Production will provide this in writing.

Ownership & Copyright

• Aperture Beauty Production retains full copyright and ownership of all photos and video captured.

• Content is licensed, not sold.

• Raw/unedited files are not supplied unless agreed in writing.

Usage Behaviour (Media Integrity)

 

❌ No edits / no alterations

 

Unless Aperture Beauty Production gives written permission, the Model must not:

​

• ❌ apply filters or presets

• ❌ change colours or add re-grading

• ❌ retouch face/body or reshape

• ❌ use AI enhancement tools

• ❌ add text, captions, stickers, borders, overlays

• ❌ heavily crop or reframe beyond normal platform sizing

• ❌ screenshot, screen-record, or post previews / watermarked proofs

 

✅ All content must be shared as delivered.

Photo usage (Models) - permitted 

 

✅ The Model may use final delivered photographs from Aperture Beauty Production for personal and professional self-promotion, unless a specific booking is restricted in writing.

 

This includes (where applicable):

• Posting on Instagram / TikTok / Facebook / X (feed, carousel, stories, reels cover image, highlights)

• Use on the Model’s portfolio website, digital portfolio PDF, and model cards / comp cards

• Use on Spotlight, StarNow, Mandy, LinkedIn, agency submissions, and casting applications

• Sharing with the Model’s modelling agency for representation and pitching (non-paid use)

• Use in “recent work” folders, press kits, and standard promotional materials used to promote the Model as talent

 

Conditions of use (must follow)

 

To post photographs, the Model must:

• ✅ share the content as delivered (no edits/alterations) unless approved in writing

• ✅ keep captions and context truthful (do not state paid partnerships/campaigns unless confirmed)

• ✅ respect any embargoes / “do not post until” instructions

• ✅ remove content if Aperture Beauty Production reasonably requests it (confidential job, client request, legal issue), confirmed in writing

 

Model Posting, Credit & Tagging - Important

(must be formatted like this, top to bottom - fit to event)

 

When posting, the Model must tag all parties & credit where possible in this exact order:

1. Production : @aperturebeautyproduction

2. Event:  e.g. @charlottetilbury Brush Along with Carla

3. Makeup Artist: @MUA

4. Model: @model | Casting by Aperture Beauty Production

5. Location: e.g. @ctboutiquecoventgarden

Include the following hashtag on all posts: #aperturebeautyproduction

❌ Photo usage (Models) – prohibited

​

• sell, license, or commercially exploit the images

• use images in paid advertising, boosted posts, sponsorships, affiliate promotions

• provide images to brands, PR agencies, magazines, blogs, or third-party pages for their marketing use

• upload images to stock sites or libraries

• claim ownership/copyright or misrepresent authorship

• use images in a defamatory, misleading, or damaging way

 

Booking-specific restrictions

 

Some bookings may include additional restrictions (confidential shoots, unreleased products, embargoes, exclusivity, limited usage windows). If so, those rules will be issued in writing and override this section for that booking.

✅ Video Sharing (Models) - permitted 

 

Default rule:

The Model may share video only by reposting or collaboration from Aperture Beauty Production’s official posts (or sharing the official link).

 

That means:

• ✅ reposting the published reel/video to stories

• ✅ using platform repost tools (e.g., “Add to story / Repost”)

• ✅ sharing the official link on a portfolio as “Featured work”

 

❌ Video Sharing (Models) - prohibited ​

​

• upload the video file themselves

• add on-screen text/titles/captions/stickers/overlays

• edit the video (cuts, colour changes, speed changes, transitions, new clips)

• change the music/audio

• give video files to brands/PR/pages/magazines/anyone else

• use video in paid ads/boosted posts/sponsorships/affiliate promotions

• post unreleased BTS that shows products, client material, or confidential set details

Confidentiality

 

The Model must not share private production details unless Aperture Beauty Production confirms it is allowed, including call sheets, rates, client info, unreleased products, or unreleased behind-the-scenes.

Payment & Invoicing (Unless TFP)

​

• Payment is usually cash on the day unless agreed otherwise.

• If the job is not paid in cash on the day, the Model must email an invoice to: contact@aperturebeautyproduction.co.uk

Legal Basics

​

• The Model waives the right to inspect or approve content before use by Aperture Beauty Production.

• If the Model breaches these terms (especially edits or unauthorised sharing), Aperture Beauty Production may request removal and may decline future bookings.

• This Release is governed by the laws of England & Wales.
