This page outlines the full terms and conditions for working with Aperture Photography Ltd., trading as Aperture Beauty Production (“Aperture Beauty Production”).

These terms apply to all productions. Specific inclusions (e.g., number of deliverables, Tier level) are detailed in your quote.

We encourage you to read each section carefully before confirming your quote.

General Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all bookings made with Aperture Beauty Production.

💳 Payment Terms

Deposit Option: To secure your production slot, you may choose to pay in full upfront, or pay a 50% deposit to lock in your quote.
Balance Due: Full payment must be received at least 14 days prior to the scheduled shoot date. If the balance is not received by this time, the booking will be cancelled and your deposit returned.
Late Bookings: Bookings made within 14 days of the shoot require full payment upfront to confirm.
Payment Method: To keep production costs low for our clients, we currently accept payment by bank transfer only. (no card or PayPal).

🔁 Cancellations & Refunds

More than 14 days Prior:
✅ You may cancel or request changes to your booking.
✅ All payments, including deposits, are fully refundable.

✅ Quotes can be updated or adjusted freely.
14 to 7 days Prior:

❌ Your deposit is non-refundable.

✅ We will do our best to accommodate any changes (e.g. rescheduling, model preferences, shoot structure), but changes are not guaranteed and may incur additional fees.
Less than 7 days / No-show:

❌ No refunds for cancellations.

❌ Changes to the shoot brief or production requirements are not accepted.

✅ You must have paid in full before this period for production to proceed.
No-show or last-minute cancellation (within 48 hours):

❌ No refunds.

❌ A full rebooking fee may apply if you wish to reschedule.

🧾 Quotes & Validity

All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. After this time, pricing may be subject to change.
Discounts and promotional offers are only applicable to the specific quote issued, and may not carry over to revised or reduced scopes of work.

📅 Rescheduling & Postponements

We understand unexpected things can come up. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible.
Reschedules requested more than 7 days before the shoot will be handled at no additional cost.
Reschedules within 7 days are not guaranteed and may require a new booking fee depending on availability and prep work already carried out.
Rescheduling more than once may incur additional fees, especially if prep has already begun.

💼 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances outside our control (e.g. extreme weather, transport strikes, illness, etc.). In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule the shoot at the earliest possible opportunity.
We will offer a reschedule at no extra cost if a force majeure event occurs.

📄 Ownership & Licensing

Aperture Beauty Production retains full copyright to all photos and videos captured during our productions.
Licensing applies only to final edited content. Unedited/raw files are not included unless otherwise agreed.
Content is licensed, not sold. Usage rights are granted in line with the selected license tier (see relevant pages for full breakdown).

🧩 Usage Behaviour & Restrictions

Clients, MUAs, and models may not apply filters, edits, crops, overlays, or alterations to any final delivered content unless specifically permitted.
All media must be shared and published as delivered, with visible credit in caption, description & tagging of @aperturebeautyproduction where possible.
Misuse or distribution outside the agreed license may result in retrospective licensing or removal requests.

💽 File Storage & Archive

We store all final images and videos for up to 60 days after delivery.
During this time, clients may:
- Request additional edits (e.g. extra retouching, new video reels, etc.)
- Purchase extra licenses or usage upgrades if needed
After 60 days, files may be permanently removed from our archive. Please ensure you download and back up your files promptly.

✍️ Contractual Obligations

By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you:
- Confirm that you have authority to make this booking on behalf of your brand, agency, or business.
- Accept all terms outlined in your quote and relevant licensing pages
- Agree to our cancellation and payment terms

Photography Terms & Licensing

These terms apply to any content production involving photography by Aperture Beauty Production.

🧑‍💻 Photography Delivery & Editing

File delivery format: Final edited images are delivered digitally via download link in high-resolution JPEG format (or other formats by prior request).
✅ Included professional editing is provided (colour correction, exposure balancing, image consistency).
❗Advanced retouching, compositing, or stylistic edits are not included unless agreed in writing and may incur additional fees.
Watermarked preview images may be provided for selection or review.
❌ Watermarked images must not be shared, published, or distributed under any circumstances.
Revisions:
- Each selected image includes one round of complimentary revision, such as minor retouch adjustments, exposure tweaks, or colour balancing refinements. Clients may request up to five revisions per production as part of their included service.
- Additional revisions beyond this limit, or significant edit requests (e.g. advanced retouching, object removal, background changes), may incur an additional editing fee and must be agreed upon in advance.
Photography delivery timelines:
- Smaller productions: typically within 7 days
- Larger productions: typically within 14 days
- These timelines reflect our standard turnaround expectations. However, delivery may be extended during busy periods or in cases where additional editing, approvals, or revisions are required. We’ll always keep you informed and do our best to meet your deadlines, if you have a specific launch or campaign date, please let us know early so we can accommodate it wherever possible.

🏷️ Photography Usage & Licensing

We offer two image usage tiers depending on your needs. These define how the final images can be used, shared, edited, and distributed.

Tier 1 – Standard License (Included)

✅ Use for personal promotion, portfolios, and educator marketing

✅ Share on your website, social media, or digital portfolio

✅ Suitable for personal branding, internal presentations, and online profiles

❌ Not licensed for paid advertising, press features, or major campaigns

❌ No edits outside of agreed colour correction and professional editing

❌ Not for resale, third-party use, or commercial transfer

Tier 2 – Full Usage Buyout (Paid)

✅ Includes all Tier 1 permissions

✅ Perpetual, worldwide commercial usage rights

✅ Approved for paid advertising (digital + print)

✅ Use across all media formats (existing or future)

✅ Campaigns, press, long-term brand rollout

✅ You may crop, resize, or add text overlays

❌ No resale, sublicensing, or third-party transfer

❌ No retouching, stylistic edits, or filter application without approval by Aperture Beauty Production

❌ Ownership is not transferred

💬 Upgrading to Tier 2

To secure a Tier 2 license, please contact us before image delivery.
Fees are quoted based on campaign scope and usage intent.

📌 Image Quantities & Additional Purchases

Image quantities are defined in your personalised quote.
Additional images beyond the included amount may be purchased at the agreed per‑image rate.
All purchased images receive the same professional editing standard.

Videography Terms & Licensing

These terms apply to any content production involving videography by Aperture Beauty Production.

🎞️ Videography Editing & Format

✅ Professional editing includes music synchronisation, colour grading, shot sequencing, and visual consistency.
❗Advanced editing such as motion graphics, or format conversions may require a separate agreement and fee.
Production format: Videos are produced in 4K, 10-bit colour depth, and shot on Sony FX-series cinema equipment.
Delivery format: Tier 2 content is delivered in formats optimised for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other vertical social platforms. Alternative formats can be arranged on request. Tier 3 includes these files, plus a curated folder of raw footage.
Delivery timelines:
- Smaller video productions: Typically within 14 days
- Larger or multi-deliverable projects: Typically within 28 days
- These timeframes reflect standard turnaround expectations. Timelines may be extended during high-volume periods or when extensive feedback, revisions, or custom requests are involved. If you’re working toward a specific launch or campaign date, let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Watermarked previews may be issued for review. These must not be published, shared, or redistributed.
Revisions:
- Clients may request up to five revisions per production as part of the included service.
- ⛔ Revisions beyond this, or requests requiring structural changes, motion graphics, or subtitle integration, may incur additional editing fees.
- Revisions typically cover minor changes such as clip selection, music swaps, and timing tweaks, within the bounds of the original brief.
Raw footage delivery is only available under Tier 3. See Usage & Licensing for full details.

💼 Videography Usage & Licensing

We offer three video usage tiers to suit different needs. These refer to how the video is used, shared, edited, and distributed.

Tier 1 - Social Collaboration (Free)

✅ Co-branded post shared on our platform(s) (e.g. Instagram, TikTok)

✅ You are welcome to re-share the post (as-is) on your channels, with full credit

❌ You cannot download, edit, republish independently, or use for paid advertising

❌ Not for use in website content, paid media, or promotional edits

Tier 2 - Owned Use (Paid)

✅ We deliver the finished video file for your own platforms

✅ You may publish to your website, social channels, or share in newsletters

✅ Permitted for organic promotional use only

❌ Not licensed for paid social ads, TV, or sponsored placements

❌ No raw files included

Tier 3 - Raw Footage + Full Usage (Paid)

✅ Includes Tier 2 usage rights

✅ PLUS: Delivery of 6 – 8 minutes of curated raw footage in 4K

✅ Footage delivered in S-Log3, 10-bit colour, ready for professional post-production

✅ Optional baked-in Rec.709 conversion available on request

✅ You may re-edit, repurpose, or create new content using these clips

✅ Permitted for organic + paid promotions (ads, campaigns, reels, etc.)

❌ Does not transfer ownership of footage

Model Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to any content production involving models sourced through Aperture Beauty Production.

🔎 How We Book Models

We cast from our trusted database of experienced models, carefully matched to your brief (skin tone, aesthetic, availability, experience).
For applicable bookings, you’ll receive a shortlist of available models for final selection
✅ Bookings are only confirmed once we receive your model booking fee.
❗Shortlisted models are subject to availability until confirmation is received.
🔁 Any changes after confirmation must also be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.

💷 Model Payment & Product Gifting

Models are paid by Aperture Beauty Production directly on the day of the event.
If models are to receive product or gift bags in addition to payment, the contents must align with the agreed amount or value at time of booking
❗ All product-based gifting must be agreed in writing and itemised during the booking process.

🔁 Cancellations & Booking Amendments

More than 7 days before the shoot
✅ You may change your selected model once at no extra cost.
🔁 All amendment requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to model availability.
Within 7 days of the shoot
❌ Model changes are subject to a £20 amendment fee.
⚠️ Changes are not guaranteed and depend on availability.
48 hours before the shoot
❌ Model changes cannot be accommodated.

👥 Model Availability & Substitution

While we aim to provide the confirmed model, unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness or emergencies) may arise.
In such cases, we will:
- Notify you as soon as possible
- Source a suitable replacement where possible
- Provide a similar option of at least equal match, where available
✅ We always aim to maintain at least one standby model on the day as a precaution

⏰ Working Hours & On-Set Conditions

⁠Overtime will apply to shoots that run beyond the agreed timeframe (usually 8 hours) and must be approved by us, with an estimated duration.
For bookings extending beyond a half-day, lunch breaks and refreshments must be provided by the host or client.
Basic on-set welfare (breaks, seating, warmth/cooling) must be considered.
